He rans 10.90's at Pinks all out this year here in San Antonio. He sprayed a small shot( check the videos on my page) and with street tires(26 x 10.50 x 15 ET Streets) ran 10.21 @ 137 mph.. Slicks should have made it in the high 9's. Not bad for a 3600 Lb street car.
Sure Dave. My 383 is based on a 350 block, has Eagle crank and Rods. The heads are Air FLow Research 220's with 2.08 and 1.60 valves. The heads are CNC ported and flow 312 CFM @ .600 lift on the intake side. I use a Lunatic Solid Roller cam with .636 lift and the durations is 276-280@.50. Compression on this motor is 14 to one( which requires 110 octane gas or better all the time)I use a Holley HP950 on A Super Victor Intake which is port matched to the heads. Transmission is turbo 350 with a Hughes 8" 4800 stall converter. Moser 9" with 4.11 gears, 33 spline axles and a full spool. My son drives this to and from the track, runs cool at 180 degrees.
