1320xers, it's my distinct pleasure to introduce all of you to Corbin Hames of Oak View, California who recently qualified for the Pinks All Out event coming up in September in Bakersfield.

Corbin's ride is a 1969 Dodge Dart with a 440 HP ... here's a few specs.

After a year of saving up, Corbin finally got ahold of a set of 440 source aluminum heads and a Holley Street Dominator. Subframe connectors, a .530 solid lift cam, adjustable rockers and maybe some 4.10 gears are also part of the plan between now and September.

Corbin is a 19-year old with a very supportive young family of his own. In addition to working full time as the manager of a heavy equipment rental yard, he's also taking care of his wife, baby and his dad too all while trying to get the car together before The Big Day. He's got a very solid plan in mind for his car (check out the pics on his profile at http://www.1320x.com/profile/corbinhames) and has already lined up a couple well known pit crew members to help get him and his Dart to the finish line in style. With still eight months to go, Jalopy Joe's Speed Shop in Ventura [http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2007show/07jalopyjoe/] is already on board and he hopes to firm up a legendary painter, Tom B., very soon. But he can use your help and support too.

I've gotten my shop involved with the project because I like Corbin. He's very sharp, well spoken and knows what he wants out of life. I believe in his abilities and share his desire to succeed both on and off the track. I'm going to be dressing up his motor and accessories with some serious custom coating in exchange for having a couple PSC decals on his Dart and showing off my work both at the event and afterwards. I'm excited for him and proud to be involved.
