My Fellow Brothers and Sisters,
I, as well as all of us, hate to hear about anything of this sort, but it's something I just had to let you all know.
A great man and racer has passed away here on the West coast and I mean GREAT !!!! When you get a small block in a '49 all steel behemoth, start it with the original key to run a low 9 @ high 140's yer my hero.
Bob Turpin was this gentleman's name. The reason you guys might know him is because he was on the Pinks All
Outtakes, in his Pink, not really, "mauve" Ford, just four months before his passing. I hope you all got to see it because it's a blessing this man was immortalized on the show. He has been a Juggers Racing Team member for as long as I can remember, The Juggers are one of the oldest race teams in America, in existance since 1953. I hope you all will say a little prayer for our fallen commarade, he was really that cool. I hope I have a NHRA license when I'm his age. GOODSPEED BOB, man that Ford was fast !!!!
Best Wishes and Blessings to you all, Will
