1320X - Grassroots Drag Racing

We all love great food, Great company and a sucessful day at the racetrack! right??!! My weekend started out with having a contractor dig out my side driveway for my "New 2010 trailer" whoohoo.

Having had the driveway cleared, the Trailer arrrived Saturday mid day after "Smitty" arrived to hang out with CC for the remainder of the weekend. The anticipation brewed as we waited for my new enclosed trailer.

The trailer arrived at 3:30 as promised commin around the corner into my driveway... just plain sexxy in our eyes! lol!
We checked it out, I drooled (just a little bit) lol and we headed to tractor supply one of our favorite stores to putt around in.
Of course we didn't leave empty handed.. we each bought a few things for our racing needs and came back to have the meal fit for a "King". I made Prime rib, grilled eggplant, roasted veggies and Smitty took care of the mashed tators.

What a meal... Sunday we headed to the Racetrack and he was unsure if he would be racin... he had some arching with his electronics.. That didn't hold him back.... I was the PB that is (Pit Biatch) lol for a day helpin him with his car etc....

Smitty had a few issues and started changin spark plugs, put new cap on etc.... anyway after his time trial runs, We were off to eliminations. We had so much food left over that we took the Prime rib, mashed potatoes and veggies with us heating them on the grill. Who ate better than us?? lol.
At round 3, iI told him that I have a feeling in my gut that he was going to win the day!! he laughed it off and said whatever CC. A few round's later, he did it!

Well....... great lights, car running on, one by run and only one person redlighting to him, Smitty was dead on and won the "King of the Hill" race at Lebannon Valley!!! Whooohoooo Smitty!!! We froze our butt's off but it was well worth it!

I am very happy for him and the whole weekend was "fit for a King" lol. I hope to have my beastly Chevelle out at the racetrack Sunday for a great day of racing. My Ford Fab 9" rear arrived today! Driveshaft to be done also....

That's racin for Smitty and CC!!

NIce cooking CC . . . yummy yummy lol. NIce job Smitty winning King of The Hill. Wish tracking a bug in my car was as simple as changing plugs, a distributor cap and plug wires . . . . ahhhh the good ol'e days. Hopefully we'll get up for a weekend of testing before the track closes. Have to be sure the car is good to go for the U.S. Army Sport Compact Nationals at MIR in November. Have to get tubes in my slicks and then off to do some testing.
