Round One '09 MWOC
Due to the highwinds we ran the race on the 1/8 mile. The turnout for the day was a bit light even with the T&T / The 10.5 Race / and our Open Comp race there were only around 60 cars in the pits.
Eight cars were in the field and it shook out like this:

Man, we love this show...the wife and I compete against each other while watching too....Aw come-on, you know you all do that too!! And being that she's run the computer timing equipment at the local track for over ten years keeps the 'competition' pretty close most of the time.

I'm going racing this weekend!!!!
It's the Terry Stumpf Memorial Race and we're gonna be there!!!!!!
He was a big inspiration to me when I first went to the dragstrip as his factory built 428 Cobra Jet Mustang was only one of 50 that Ford had built back in '68 it caught my eye...and he was very helpful with some good advice early in my racing days.....can't miss this one!!

Well the time spent at Andersen Automotive paid off as the FlashBack is back to going straight and true once again!
We really had things fouled up and I was concerned that we may have twisted something on the car but Marshall took some measurements and put that bad dream to rest, we had just gotten a bit lost on the setup and he showed us what/where/when/how so we don't go down that road again.
One word of advice...don't try to adjust the rear suspension on anything but a nice flat LEVEL surface…

After a few weeks of trying to adjust the front and rear suspension on the FlashBack and not quite getting it right....we had the car pulling severly to the right...we hauled the car over to our local ProMod racer-friends shop (also a sponsor of ours) Andersens Automotive and had him give us a lesson in rear suspension and frt alignment adjustments.
Everything is squared up once again and we await the re-reopening of the track so we can go see how we did!!
