Willowbank Raceway - Bracket Event - 21st Nov 2009

This Bracket Event was rather interesting to say the least! After arriving at the track and unloading the race vehicle etc, I then headed to the scrutineering bay to hand in our entry form, only to be told no paperwork would be accepted yet due to a minor fault with the Christmas Tree lights. The third amber light was not working and the problem couldn't be fixed on the day. Willowbank Raceway - Test'n'Tune event

Hi all just thought I'd pop in and give you an update on our racing activities. We headed off to Willowbank Raceway last Sat 31st Oct for their Test'n'Tune event. Only a small amount of people their.... this possibly due to the dark clouds looming overhead or the fact that it was Halloween. Mama was once again very pleased with the ET and reaction times. Bracket Event for drag racing

Saturday 10th Oct saw Willowbank Raceway hold their Bracket Event. Points accumulated goes towards the Track Championship with 5 points awarded for each round win. Mama managed a Semi-Final appearance and I believe this now places me tied on 2nd place with one young gun in the Track Championship. I am also currently leading the Australian Championship in our Super Street Bracket. Really hoping that this season results end with a championship win. Eat My Dust Track Day

The afternoon's activity was to be drag racing at the Test and Tune event at Willowbank Raceway Sat 26th Sept, but was cancelled due to a dust storm approaching the area. Red dust lay all over the track (as I was told) and the track was deemed unsafe for racers. BUMMER! Best be safe than sorry! On a lighter note, there is always next time. Test Day at the Track!

Well we loaded the race car onto the truck once more and headed out to Willowbank Raceway last night for their Test'n'Tune event that commenced around 6pm and mama had 6 passes on the night. I was really rapted with my first two reactions as both were .038 next was .099 then .101 Last pass of the night Warren wanted me to try something different. He had hooked a solenoid up to the accelerater and wanted me to stall the car up, hold my pinky on the button then release when the lights were trigger… Continue

ANDRA PRO SERIES Round 1

The season opener was the ANDRA PRO SERIES Round 1 at Willowbank Raceway, Qld on 8th & 9th August 2009. Seeing Mama and the team at the track on the Friday night testing out their new Compulink timing system and Christmas Tree. I had 5 passes this night with the Rover running between 11.56 and 11.595 Reactions were: .049 .092 .061 .041 and .033 Very happy with the race vehicles performance! Castrol Edge Winternationals 2009 Drag Racing event

The biggest event on the Australian drag racing calendar the Castrol Edge Winternationals for 2009 has come to a close with around 536 entrants. This also sees the end of the drag racing season for 2008/09 Competition was fierce and there were some major up-sets during the finals.
