I went to the Virginia NHRA Nationals at Virgina Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Virginia for Friday qualifying. In the second round of qualifying the conditions were OPTIMAL! The temperature, air density, and humidity were excellent for all of the top fuel, pro stock and pro-mods.
The Pro Stock cars went first… just as the evening air was getting cooler. The sun was beginning to go down a the sky was overcast, so the track temps were mild. The cars ran awesome times… all 16 cars ran in the 6.5…
