Vicki Miley World of Speed

I am planning on running my '68 Camaro at World of Speed at Bonneville next year to try to get in the 130 mph club. I want to know if anyone has run there and has suggestions for what to do to the car to prepare it. I am having a roll cage and five point harness put in. It already has sub-frame connectors. I want to make sure it is as safe and fast as possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Continue

We've been trying to find out where Pinks All Out is going in 2010. Speed hasn't released the schedule yet but some of the tracks have... May 14 -15 Maplegrove Penn June 6 - 7 Virginia Motorspeedway in Dinwiddie July 17 Heartland Topeka KS September 17 Infineon Raceway California (the only west coast appearance) We've also seen a post from Lowes about season tickets that said Pinks All Out April 2010 but havent been able to confirm that. Bryan Anders short bus last time out for the year

well went to mir on sunday for the last tim out for the year for a litle test and tune before winter upgrades was very busy over 400 cars so i only got 3 passes so no motor passes still only spraying 50 shot as mny people think thats not anything it a start car went 10.05 at 133.8 and then 9.96 at 134.4 and then 9.97 at 135.1 so all i wanted was a 10.00s and we got there it was the fastest i have ever been and i had a ball not bad for a car on sportsman pro's also jims is still the proud owner… Continue

Tuff 73 All Performance Challenge- Heathcote Park Nov 14th 2009

Hello All, I know its been awhile since I have been on 1320x- had to upgrade my computer and I have had alot of viruses too! And life has been very busy as well! Its now the day after race day and what a day it was! temperature got to 40 degrees celsius by late afternoon- but the meeting went on and I'm happy to say that Tuff 73 and I came runner up in our bracket ( 10 -11:99 secs). I wish everyone a great weekend at VMP!!! Unfortunately we will not be attending. As everyone has probably heard....Joe Newsham had a very bad crash at ETown last weekend. Bill does have a chance to take the #1 position in points for the year but chose not to race. He felt that if he couldn't do it fair and square, he didn't want #1 for the year. Matthew Ball Costs at VMP for this weekend's race?

Someone please help me out here! If I'm reading all this right; Fridays T&T is $100.00 and if I T&T Friday I pay entry to race! To Camp is $40.00 Race Non Elect. $40.00 SO it's $180.00? Or does the T&T and Race entry free include the Camping for $140.00? Would someone help out and settle my wondering mind! Or should I just wait until 5 p.m. pay $12.00 to T&T then pay the $40.00 Camping fee!!!!! Continue

Tim Miletti 2009 A Great Season

Steve Going to the drags

Well, it's been 40 years since I've been on a drag strip ... but today that all changes. I'm going to take my Cobra today and see what she will do (maybe that's see what I can do with her). I'm going with the attitude of "just have fun." Take it slow and see how it goes. It's also an 1/8 mile strip and I've never driven on an 1/8 mile strip ..
