my car is a 1986 monte carlo ss with t-tops, i've owned since 1986. the car has over 300,000 miles on it. this year i steped up and put a 383 all forged short block that i bought from cnc-motor sports, the cylinder heads are stock vortec's with comp beehive springs and self aligning crane rollers,the cam is a comp 268, the intake is a super victor with a 750 mighty demon,the ignition is a msd billet dist and 6a box, the trans is a 700r4 with a 3000 b&m stall and shift kit, the rear end is a chris alston fab-9 and strange axles, with a detroit locker with 4.11 gears, i just added a anti-roll bar and brackets to move my lower rear bars,with lakewood rear shocks, the front shocks are qa1 single adjustable.
i have a dual stage nos system that i haven't used yet, i'am using m/t et streets 28-11.50 15's my best time so far is 12.30 @ 108 with a 1.67 60ft. i still haven't tuned the supension yet, and hoping to get a better 60 ft.
