Just in case you haven't seen this I wanted to send it again after discussing the facts with some Top Fuel friends of mine. After crunching some more numbers pertaining to clutch settings this is what I believe to be a little more accurate;

7000 rpm burnout =350 rpms light load

4.5 sec run @9500 = 711 rpms

2 +secs before clutch lockup = 300+rpms

still only turns 1361 rpms in 1320 feet

Dear Nate,
Hey bud I know the trip is long and arduous but we really need something to spark some life into the racing community out here. We have the people, the cars and no where to go. My good friend Mark Meadors of Goodguys fame, (he's the Pres.) abandoned our old muscle car shootouts years ago and now he doesn't even run the Nostalgia Nats.any longer and we have nothin'!!!
