Mark, I sent you some pictures of the 429 sitting in the engine bay of my 69. Sorry it took a while to get them to you.

I'll look and see if I have any photos. If not when my daughter gets home I'll snap some photos.

It's been torn apart for a long time but you will get an idea.

There is room. I used the Boss 429 motor mounts. My shock towers are not notched and I use headers from Tubular Automotive. Each tube installs separately and uses a slip on collector. The plugs are tough to change. The motor sets a little to far forward for me.

Some day I would like to re do the front with a more modern suspension and do away with the shock towers.

Thanks Mark!! I know the feeling about the economy. Before the economy went way south I put a good chunk of my engine build on my credit card... Then in November the oil pump shattered on it and the car has been sitting ever since. The week after that my F350 blew an oil cooler and took out my head gaskets, and 5100 dollars later I had it back from the stealership. Mind you I am just finishing up paying off my CC so not I can tear back into my stang. I have missed driving it. The car is definetly a handfull. At 15psi I am putting 612/598 to the rear wheels and will hase the tires at 85. I just picked up some DR's so hopefully I can make some use of 1st and second.

I love yuor engine man. Very clean work!. the 70 stangs are one of my favorites. Did you do yuor cage or did you ahve it done??? Oh and nice quad... I just bought my KFX450R, and have been tearing up the trails with it. Its my first quad ever, and I dont know why I didnt buy one sooner.

Nice talking with ya, If I am ever out in WI I with my car its yours to drive!

Nice pictures Mark...except for all of that snow. Looks to damn cold.

I like your 69 coupe. I have a 69 Fastback that I've owned for 25 years. It has a .030 over 429 with a C6 transmission. Currently it is torn apart in my garage but some day it will be back together.
