At 5:39am on January 10, 2009, Smitty said…: Yeah, the red just bothered me!!! IIt was blotchy and touched up plus needed body work. It was supposed to be Flat black. I sprayed it with "Hot Rod Black" which was supposed to be a semi sheen. When it dried it looked like one of those ink blot tests. Luckily I had a Gallon of clear on hand. I took a chance and cleared the whole thing. The paint actually came out real nice. It's not a perfect car but it looks presentable now anyway!! I have another 72 I am putting together if I can find the time. I guess I've probably owned about 30 Novas. Even drove one in High School which is accient history!!!! They just "do it" for me! Love em!!!!
