- Hey Donnie, Good to here from ya, Sorry to hear about your engine mishap but glad you had a back up, So trying to make me jealous with all the fun your having at the track, well its working lol. Man i dont have my junk together yet, I havent had a chance to play with her in a few months with work and life the way it is, but plan on hitting it hard during the summer months, so hang in there we will get or chance to play, Hey next time you go out to the track let me know and i might be able to come out and watch you run a few....talk to ya later.............Brian

- Ok Donnie, Pinks All Out is more or less all heads up racing and 1320x is broke into classes. such as 10.5 outlaw, & ET. Bracket classes, Plus we at 1320x do not have air time on speed channel Yet and I state Yet as it may be aired in the future, Lets hope. If you go to the main page and at the top of the page click on classes it will help you understand a little better.. Thanks Paul..

Smitty said… - IMHO ......I would NOT take the sway bar off if you spend most of your time on the street! Taking it OFF can give you a "washed out" feeling on de- accel. If you are sure the front end is tight and up to par, the next thing I would check is alignment. Looks like maybe the car is lowered a bit? Sometimes there are not enough shims left in the front end to get the camber and caster set on our cars. If that is the case then there are ofset upper control arm "bolts" you can install. Let me know how you make out!

Tony M said… - Man, thats some serious meat you have on your car. Wished mine would take that size, I had replacement 1/4's on mine...so even a standard rim with 255 tires rub. I guess I have to have the inner fenders cut some so they will take a 17'' tire which I want to do and tried but they didnt work. I havent raced my car yet, I have been upgrading things and now I am ready for the 1320. With this motor, the guy that had it had all the wrong things on it like too large a carb, headers, converter and he was turning mid 12's in a 69 Nova. Im looking at high 11's which is fine for me.
Check out the meet and greet video from 1/31 at Nate's shop, you will see that Camoman and Smitty are a real bunch of crazy guys! Tho Smitty does have a really slick Nova!!! And in my pictures, those other cars are cars that belong to some of my buddies and some changes that I have made with mine like engine, totally reworked trans, rearend, connectors and caltrac's.

- Donnie i know if a 1320X event happened out this way, it would be standing room only, the pinks event last year was a blast, the only bummer was my car is not done and im trying like hell to get her done before bakerfield, but even if its not done i would go just to support grass roots drag racing and the cause.......Brian
