Who am I?
I am John Dougherty and I have a camshaft grinding shop in northern California, just outside old "hangtown" (Placerville). My local track is Sacramento Raceway. For the past 4 years I have been running my 71 Nova. Started out running 13.30's @ 105 and progressed to a best of 10.10 @ 136 mph. Hoping for a single digit before the years up.

WE used to live in Cali and race at Sacramento Raceway but at that time in my life did awhole lot of street racing from Fresno to Sac!! Sure do miss those day's!!! Wheels-Up and Haul'n Ass is what it's all about!!!!!

I just hope to make a 12 even. Lookin for 11.5's. My next plan is a mildly worked 434.

- I'm at .433 / .421 lobe lift right now.
1.6 intake / 1.55 exhaust for a net of .671/.673. Something around those numbers would be doable. What i lack in lift, i'll make up for in duration. (solid roller right???)
