According to Tire Rack there is a BF Goodrich Drag Radial that is DOT street approved. 255/50-16 should fit on my car with 1/2" spacers. Has anyone tried these.

Thank CC. I need to fix this. My best 60' time was 2.144. I guess a 13.8 second 1/4 mile is respectable for this car but the launch shouldn't be so embarrassing. It would be really nice to bring this car into the 12's. Between an LSD diff and the tires maybe.

drag radials rock!! my 60' times picked up from 143 down to 137!! usually around 139. can't run them on the street though! strictly for the track

Does anyone have any data on what I might expect going from street radials to drag radials on a high 13 second car. Car currently has an open diff spinning one wheel through 1st and part of second gear. A limited slip and drag radials are in the plan.
