1320X - Grassroots Drag Racing

Hey guys,
I though it would be neat to see what everyone is runnin for numbers in their Chevelle's and compare notes! We haven't had any discussions, no posts, and Let's get this Group alive here! lol.

My chevelle has a 400 not bored with 433's, a 8" convertor with a 4900 Stall. I run 30"x9x15 Hoosier drag radial 94 circum. Super Victor Intake,1050 dominator carb and the car weighs 3500 with me in it! all seats still in, I do have a fuel cell and run C12 race fuel..
Best time was this past weekend. I ran 10.43 @ 125.88mph! 139.1 60' time.
Let's hear your set ups, weights and your best ET!!! C'mon let's start a discussion on what works and what doesn't!!!

My Chevelle weighs in at 3215 with my butt in it. The engine is a 498 Chevy block,1050 dominator, Neal Chance 2 piece converter, 12 bolt , 10.5"x29.5x15 Hoosier drag slicks, no minor suspension mods.
Best ET so far 6.36 @ 108 mph. 1.36 60' footbrake only. And it keeps breaking the transmissions in half, and exploding the drive shaft. 2008 King of the Track and No E track champion. Going to chassis shop this weekend to check pinion angle.

69 Chevelle 3100lbs. Back half, ladder bar, 468 ci, 6.385 rods 4.00 stroke all iron, glide with 6000 stall. Last years best 9.96 at 135, 1.37 60' with soft tires. This year i've taken out 250lbs, baught a set of Brodix heads and will be going with a stiff tire. Last years converter broke at the last race so i'll be getting a new one as soon as i get the motor back together and on the dyno. I'm hoping for 800hp and consistant mid 9's. Oh ya i'm running a Carb Shop 1150 Dominator.

WOW Looking at the numbers that are being posted, My car seems wimpy. I drive a 72 chevelle with a 454 Gmpp crate motor. Turbo 400 trans, 12 bolt 410 posi. So far I've posted a 12.16 @ 111 mph. Although it is a street car, I am hoping to break into the 11's. Lack of cash. Don't know what my car weighs , sorry

My '70 has a 468 (454+.060), 12.4-1 Wiseco's, Pro Comp heads 1050 Dominator... weight is about 3200lbs, and it's gone 9.99 @131 with no fine tuning (only have 4 runs on the new engine) With some runs on the motor to loosen it up, plus some tuning, should run 9.60's

Havent had my 69 weighed in quite some time but am pretty sure it is around 3300lbs.
Going to be removing the sheet metal from the doors up over this winter.

I dont have any official 1/4 times.
My fastest 8th mile time is a 5.95 at 117mph.
5.95 calculates to a 9.22 in the 1/4.
