1320X Member Meet and Dyno Day w/ Update!!!!

Great news from Wheel's Up Racing!!!!!!!!
Big thanks to Jim Helsel, owner of Wheel's Up Racing, LLC for stepping up to the plate for our members at the Member Meet. Another Update! We will also be giving out a free 1320X Race entry to the highest horsepower car on the dyno on Saturday.

Phoenix Specialyty Coatings will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to be used toward the purchase of powdercoating any of the parts on your car! The gift certificate will be awarded to the ugliest engine bay of the day selected by Adam Pritchett!!!!!!!! We figured that the person with the ugliest engine bay would benefit most from having some powder coating done. Alright everybody...Its time we got together. Just because the tracks are closed doesn't mean we can't bench race. All members are invited to come by the shop for a little hang out on January 31. I'll fire up the grill for some burgers and dogs and will provide soft drinks.

We can also do a little dyno day. Let me know if you are interested in bringing your car. We'll keep it real simple to try and get as many people on the dyno as possible. I'll give everyone 3 pulls on the dyno for $50. Since time is of the essence we won't be able to do any tuning on the cars.

The nearest town with decent hotels is Frederick, Md and is about 15 minutes from the shop. This is going to be a blast...I'm looking forward to catching up with you there.

Too far of a drive from down here in Texas. :-) Too bad, I think I would have had a shot at the ugliest engine bay, too!! Thanks for the invite anyways and you guys have a great one!!

Man I am so stoked! I cannot wait to see what this car can do! I just got it during the summer but never had it redynoned. The previous ower said it officially is @ 525RWHP but due to some dyno calibration issues it was more like 600. That is on a 5.1 Stroker and 100 shot NOS! I have not even filled the bottle up yet! LOL!

Hey Nate, thanks for the props! Again, I wish I could be there in person to meet everybody but it's just not in the cards right now. (Fall teardown season has me bustin butt over here!) It's my pleasure to help support the party even though I can't be there.
