1320X Member Meet and Dyno Day w/ Update!!!!

Great news from Wheel's Up Racing!!!!!!!!

Phoenix Specialyty Coatings will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to be used toward the purchase of powdercoating any of the parts on your car! The gift certificate will be awarded to the ugliest engine bay of the day selected by Adam Pritchett!!!!!!!! We figured that the person with the ugliest engine bay would benefit most from having some powder coating done. Alright everybody...Its time we got together. Just because the tracks are closed doesn't mean we can't bench race. All members are invited to come by the shop for a little hang out on January 31. I'll fire up the grill for some burgers and dogs and will provide soft drinks.

We can also do a little dyno day. Let me know if you are interested in bringing your car. We'll keep it real simple to try and get as many people on the dyno as possible. I'll give everyone 3 pulls on the dyno for $50. Since time is of the essence we won't be able to do any tuning on the cars.

The nearest town with decent hotels is Frederick, Md and is about 15 minutes from the shop. This is going to be a blast...I'm looking forward to catching up with you there.

Hey everybody, Nate is nice enough to put up his facility for this. It would really be cool if everybody brought a side dish (veggie or dessert) or drinks. Nate says he is taking care of the meat so why don't we at least bring something. Camodude, no possum casarole.
Nate, I am also trying to get my hands on a full size practice tree so that we can at least do some tree racing and let Smitty get some bragging rights.

I made flight arangments to bwi and rented a cobalt to drive to Mt Airy,Md. I hope that i get a cobalt set-up like dave connolly (NOT) Nate e-mail me the directions to the shop.I am making arangments for a motel.I arive on fri.at 8:25 at bwi and fly back-out on mon. I cant wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BWI is a 40 minute drive from the shop.

Frederick has a small regional airport, or BWI is a full scale airport. Frederick is the closest of the two at about 10-12 miles where BWI is probably closer to 36-40 miles.
