1320X Member Meet and Dyno Day w/ Update!!!!

Great news from Wheel's Up Racing!!!!!!!!

Another Update! We will also be giving out a free 1320X Race entry to the highest horsepower car on the dyno on Saturday.

Phoenix Specialyty Coatings will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to be used toward the purchase of powdercoating any of the parts on your car! The gift certificate will be awarded to the ugliest engine bay of the day selected by Adam Pritchett!!!!!!!! We figured that the person with the ugliest engine bay would benefit most from having some powder coating done. Alright everybody...Its time we got together. Just because the tracks are closed doesn't mean we can't bench race. All members are invited to come by the shop for a little hang out on January 31. I'll fire up the grill for some burgers and dogs and will provide soft drinks.

We can also do a little dyno day. Let me know if you are interested in bringing your car. We'll keep it real simple to try and get as many people on the dyno as possible. I'll give everyone 3 pulls on the dyno for $50. Since time is of the essence we won't be able to do any tuning on the cars.

The nearest town with decent hotels is Frederick, Md and is about 15 minutes from the shop. This is going to be a blast...I'm looking forward to catching up with you there.

I had a blast today..my wife and I had to split a little early due to us both being sick. Thanks for the invite Nate..looking forward to more 1320x Events!!!
Just one more note: The food was freakin awesome!! I didn't eat a lot cuz I was sick but I have to say, the chile and taco dip was damn good and the WHOLE pig on the smoker was freakin amazing!! Thanks to everyone...I did have a few cookies but Shhhh...Don't tell anyone.

Yeah, while some of ya'll are up there partyin, some of us are working. LOL!!! Decided to keep the party atmosphere going through the end of the month to be a good sport even though I couldn't join in this time ... http://www.1320x.com/profiles/blogs/feb-2009-powder-coating. A big thanks to everyone that helped with the event !! I as well as many others had a blast. I had to cut out early to make it to work, but I'm glad I could be the guinea pig and be the first one to roll on the jet. I would have dynoed the race car but its bad when the diesel truck you tow it with makes more power....lol

Dennis Lowman-- yes, there is a big lot for a manufacturing facility located behind Nate's shop. That should be able to accommodate some trailers

I know its kinda late for this but since my car runs on cam 2 is there parking for trailers, or a big parking lot close that I could drive my car from? Maybe get a pull in if there's time.

Hey, looking forward to meeting you guys. Car might be a little salty by the time i get there! I will be late, 3:30-4:00 o'clockish hopefully. Hey Total Performance, can a little ol' buick be slipped into that contest? It probably wont win being a little V6 but who knows:)
